Fabrica SP

It was a comission from the Fábrica de San Pedro cultural center in Uruapan Michoacán, for the exhibition ACTION: Making and Dressing. The sounds were made from the artisanal textile machines of the old San Pedro Factory that are still used, and transmitted by a speaker arranged in one of the old industrial machines of the old factory that are no longer in operation, where I made a space intervention with several of the ancient objects that made up the different parts of those same machinery.

Fue una comisión del centro cultural Fábrica de San Pedro en Uruapan Michoacán, para la exposición ACCIÓN: El hacer y el vestir. Los sonidos fueron hechos a partir de las máquinas textiles artesanales de la antigua Fábrica de San Pedro que todavía se utilizan, y transmitidoa por un altavoz dispuesto en una de las máquinas industriales antiguas de dicha fábrica que ya no están en funcionamiento, en donde intervine el espacio con varios de los objetos antiguos que conformaban las distintas partes de esas mismas maquinarias.
